SMS Notify! API
Quick Start: VB.NET

There are three steps to integrating the SMS Notify! API into your Visual Studio VB.NET project:

1. Obtain a license key from CDYNE.com.

Sign up for an account and complete the request form.

2. Add an SMS Notify! service reference to your project.

In order to call the SMS Notify! API, you’ll need to add a service reference to your project.

a. Open your Visual Studio project. From the menu select Project > Add Service Reference… (as shown in the diagram).

b. In the Address field, type in the URL for the SMS Notify! service: http://sms2.cdyne.com/sms.svc?wsdl. Then click the Go button.

c. Once the wizard has successfully contacted the SMS Notify! service, the service will be displayed below the URL and a success message will be displayed.

Tip: You can change the Namespace to something appropriate for your project.

d. Click OK and the service will be added to your project’s service references (as shown).

3. Call the desired SMS Notify! method.

a. Create an instance of IsmsClient and call the desired method.
